Travalall and Airstream
Rubiranch, yes, a 327 should have worked well. The 64 Chevies were one of the nicest from the 60's.
VERY cool, just missing the Wally Byam numbers and it's a match. I remember my parents went to a Suburban when the International was no longer made. They owned a total of three Airstreams thru the years (wish I had the "59" now)

It is sad to me to see those old campers in that condition. Somebody had a lot of great times and memories in there.

actually the Spartan was a mobilehome or house trailers as we called them back then ['45 to '60]. There were no 5ers till the '70s. TTs were small compared to the Spartan mobile home. The Spartan was the "Caddy" of mobilehomes in that era.

Yep, I find it sad too. You go into soem of those vintage RV websites and it kills me to see some of those really nice trailers just trashed from both water and neglect.
The woodwork and paneling in some of those older ones to me, look 10 times nicer than the new ones.

Last year our friends invited some of their friends to go riding with us, they live just down the street from this Airstream. I took this picture before we met this other couple and they told us this trailer hasn't moved in the 15+ years they have lived in their home. It's plugged in to 110 but no water and the propane tanks are old.

I don't have any pictures of my own but I thought I would share this website that has a lot of photos and ads of trailers from yesteryear.

Thanks V10 man, with the snow I wouldn't think he was hunting in AZ.

Yeah, Arizona is sand dunes and cactus, right?
My grandfather built a homemade "popup" trailer back in the 60's. Looked more like a covered wagon than a modern popup (no bunkends). My family used it for many years, towing it all over the USA. Unfortunately, it seems we never captured a photo of this beast in its setup configuration. My brother and I looked thru boxes of old photos without luck.
