I found these mats to use when parking my rig at home. Our ground is sand and clay so the heavy weight can sink. These mats help and also keep the tires and jacks out of the dirt. They are made by Alturnamats but I bought them from a contractor. They are not cheap but may be a good investment for some people. They are about 3/8" thick and very heavy, about 70 lbs each (4'x8').
