Yeah, we get that allot. She is a purebred Light Golden. Niece of our almost 13 year old we had to put down last Summer.

Actually, she wanted to be in my lap (she thinks she is a lap dog). And when I put my seatbelt harness on her, she kept on unlatching the seatbelt. I think she accidentally would step on the release button, but she did it several times until I wised up and set it so she could not stand with it on, only lay down.
Hi,
(Originally posted on page 48, 5-19-07 - so it has almost been 1 year now!)
Anna has been passed off to Ryan, and is with her final owners.
Anna decided that she liked sitting on my dash - in the motorhome, someplace she does not belong. So I could not leave her alone in there. She is full of energy, and I know what you mean about her wanting to go everywhere. Yes I was awake at 5am every morning too.
It was kinda nice to have a dog around again. I really think that she must be younger than 1-1/2 years.
She is a jumper, and likes to chew on socks - I don't mind that to much, except for the pair that I have on - then it is a problem. She also likes to get your hand into her mounth, something I tried to work on.
So some advice: Never take a old pair of socks and tie a string on them to make a dog or cat chew toy - they train the dog in the wrong direction.
Fred.
It is difficult to believe it has been nearly a year since I took Anna from Stockton California to Vancouver Washington, and she is called Tia now, has started to settle down with her new family.
What a year for me too. I am also planning on settling down in Vancouver Washington. I love the green landscape, what a change from dry southern California! Don't really care for the once a week rain that tends to last 5 days of the week, but it is a trade-off for the naturally green grass!
I did not get much snow this winter, perhaps a few times where it snowed 1/2" but did not stick for more than 2-3 hours. The higher elevations - about 200' higher than Vancouver sometimes got 2-3" of snow, but only for a few days in the past 6 months!
I am glad I was not in Phoenix again for my birthday, I hear that it will be around 100 again!
Fred.
Money can't buy happiness but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche or Country Coach!
If there's a WILL, I want to be in it!

I havn't been everywhere, but it's on my list.

I was just reading through the posts as we approach the year anniversary of Tia arriving in Washington.
Tia has made great strides. She has a full time home and knows who her family is. She is our little protector! If someone comes around she does not know, she lets us know. She loves to meet new people and ride in the semi truck with me at work.
She knows that her kennel cage is her safe place and even on the weekends when we leave her kennel open, she will spend most of the night in it on her blanket. Sometime between 6am and 7am she will come lay on the bed with us until we wake up. She is a foot of the bed dog. Misty Jo is more of a "the whole bed" dog.
As we did last year we are going south this weekend. Except we already have Tia and will be headed to the RV.net NW Spring Rally.
The following weekend will be a duplicate of last year. Camping with the fur kids for Memorial Day.
Thanks to everyone who helped bring Tia into our lives. We do love her very much, and its obvious she thinks fondly of us also!

I have to say, she was QUITE the handful for the week or so I had her... but it is well worth it to know that she's found her happy ending with you ... and so have you with her.
