There's a major difference between an endorsement and an advertisement. I, for one, appreciate hearing yeas and nays about various products.
Thanks, alanshivley, and all you others who take the time to help make me better informed.

Just like tsisco I like to hear about others experience with products. This product has been around for more than a decade in the marine field, I have friends who have used it on their boats. It works as advertised and provides a great shine to oxidized and faded fiberglass. Fiberglass is more porus than paint and this stuff seals and provides a shine. UV does eventually deteriate it and it must be striped (easy) and reapplied.

My preferance is to use a good fiberglass polish to remove the oxidation and then a good wax. Once the oxidation is removed and wax applied UV deteriation slows down so that annual waxing fairly easy.

Good luck

Alan, I have a new trailer which is stored in an enclosed RV garage, but my neighbor has the '02 Aerolite we used to own. The front faces the sun nearly all day, and has visibly dulled. I will tell him about your find and see if he wants to give it a try. Thanks for the info.

Alan - I had never heard of the product so thanks for the info...Don't let a "grumpy old man" get you fired up. Glad it worked for you.

Alan....thanks for the info on the product. I will definitely try it. GSF obviously has nothing better to do with his time other than to criticize others. I hope that, after using the product, I will also be as enthusiastic about it as you are. Obviously you have a lot of appreciative individuals in this post that appreciate the information you have provided...myself included.

BTW...........can you PM me and let me know what GSF does do for a living besides complain. I was unable to find that info.

Alan,

You are a day late and a dollar short. I've already sold my boat.

Thanks for the info. It's great to hear from a fellow RVer when a product actually works. Most stuff is just snake oil.

The top part of my RV is gelcoat, but the basement doors are painted. The paint just doesn't have shine to it anymore. There isn't any oxidation on it, removing that made the top look great after a polish. Nothing I do makes the painted surface look shiny. I can't justify on a RV of the age of mine taking it in to get cleared or even repainted. If there is a product that just leaves a protective shine surface on top I would like to hear about it.
