For reasons I don't want to get into right now or I will break something....

Can someone please post a photo of the Serpentine belt routing decal that is apparently mounted on every Dodge but mine? It's a 2004 1/2 with the Cummins.

Thanks.

Trucks with the Diesels do not have a routing decal. You can get it from Auto Zone or most other parts dealers. I found a pic of it will try and post it.
Ok just click on the "pic" link in my sig then the 2004 Dodge Ram 2000 CTD and you will find it.

You can check here also. TDR

Public libraries have auto repair manuals for use. Your belt routing depends on the year, options, and in some cases if it is a CA certified vehicle. My old 1996 Dodge CTD had a routing sticker, and my present Duramax does.

03 and newer use a differnt routing and as far as I know I have not seen any routing decals on the 03 and newer CTD trucks, not any of the trucks I have seen anyway (mine and 4 other buddies trucks).

Ok. I can not get this picture to load so here goes. Looking at the front of the engine and starting at the crankshaft. In a clockwise rotation with the crank at 6:00. Go around the bottom side of the crank with the grove side of the belt. The belt travels up over the tensioner. the tensioner rides on the back side of the belt. Then travels down toward the air conditioning compressor on the grove side. Then up to the alternator on the grove side. then down around the water pump on the flat side. then up to the idler on the grove side. then down around the power steering pump on the grove side. then around the fan on the flat side. then down to the crankshaft on the grove side where you started. This is for a 2003 with air conditioning. The non A.C. version is different. I also have that routing. Let me know if you need it. I hope you can understand this and it helps.
