Just heard from two sources that Camping World is coming to Fresno, Ca. (probably in the Fall.) Those of you outside the area could care less but those of us within 25 miles radius of Fresno (600,000??) are going to be very happy that Camping World is arriving.
Apparently they are either buying out Paul Evert RV or are joining with them. Either way it's a plus for Central Calif RVers in my opinion. Frankly we're tired of $120 per hour repair or install charges regardless of the difficulty of the work. Also, having available to us a greater availability of supplies and parts at more reasonable prices couldn't be more welcome.
I thought the many Fresno, Madera, Tulare and Kings County folks might like to know.
Don't mean to bust your bubble but I was in my local CW store in Denton,Tx over the past weekend and noticed the shop labor rate was $110.00 per hour. Go Figure.
Yes it is coming in the fall, Soon you will see signs.
It is an agreement between Paul Everts and Camping World. Camping World will sell Camping World stuff and parts for Paul Everts. Paul everts will sell motor homes. Paul everts will keep his techs to work on the motor homes he sells and to repair travelers in need as he does now. It is not clear to me if Camping World will bring in techs of there own or how the or if the service writers will change. Camping World may set up a couple of stalls to install some items. Thing could change but that is how it was 3 weeks ago.
If you have ever been there Pauls Everts they already had a good accessory department and the price was not too bad the next nearest store that size is in Visalia (Goshen).
I appreciate the response but Dan Gamel and Paul Evert's price and availability of supplies pales in comparison to Camping World's. When we head south we stop in Bakersfield or Valencia; when we go North we stop at Sacramento (Rockland.)to get our supplies.
Furthermore, when I got a quote 8 weeks ago to purchase and install a Wingard satellite unit on my RV, Camping World was $324 cheaper than anybody in Fresno. Bring it on CW.
