What brand and type shocks do you suggest? I pull a 5th wheel with 1800 pounds of pin weight. 9,300 total weight of camper.

I swear by Bilsteins. Others swear by Rancho 9000s. Both are a HUGE improvement over the stock junk.

I currently have an 04 2500HD with the Duramax, but whenever I need shocks on any of my vehicles, I go to Sears and get the best light truck shock they have with the lifetime free replacement warranty. ( I believe they are Monroe Sensitrac), I generally get rid of the factory shocks at about 20,000 miles. So far I have only had to replace two shocks on a 94 Chevy DRW 3500. No problems on the exchange.

Put my money on Rancho, and don't regret it. Take anything over OEM.
