Over the years I've enquired twice at 2 different KOA's in 2 different states and neither offered any type of discount at all. FWIW: KOA could give us a year's worth of free nights camping/RV'ing and we'd still pass after the poor experience we've had in the past with KOA.
I wish they would,,I use them alot,im a retired US Marine, 100% Disabled, Unemployable, recieved a purple heart at age 38, figured someone out there would say heres a free bone stay for free,,,Kings Dominon,Disney and Busch Gardens gave us free passes,,damn Camp Grounds,,lolanyway,,same reason Target doesnt support military either,,who knows,,,
What's wrong with the military camp grounds on all the bases across the country. They are some of the best priced camp grounds out there. I'm retired 20 years and when you find someone out there that will give us vets a break let me know to.
WillBillUSMC I think you are living in a dream world. I've been retired for 27 years and have yet gotten anything free because I was retired military.2 NAM tours, SS,7BS and PH, I still have to buy my coffee. Go Luck and Happy RVing. Don't want to PUO, but I live in the real world. JMO

I would never tell KOA I was a Vet, as they would probably add a charge for being a Vet. KOA, Keep On Adding charges. My experiences with them have NEVER been good, except one in NM, which offered dry camping for $8/night and no add on fees.
