Are there any vans that have a slide out or a company that retro fit a slide out in an older van such as a sprinter?

Marcopolo beat me to recommending Great West Van.
BTW, you can't put a slide on a Sprinter because of the body type. Winnebago makes a C Class van with slides - but it can't be done on a B.

Only one, Great West Vans.

Slides are heavy, and need to be planed for from the ground up. Proper weight distribution and all.

There is another one but I can't think of the manufacturer. It is a canadian van that has a bump out out the back. The doors open and the end of the bed slides out. Please help me think of the maker.

To me, I would not want a slide.
A slide is one more "moving part" that can be a problem down the road, ahem... I mean, in the future.
The technology in "slide building" has improved for sure but you still hear stories of water leakage, bent sliding mechanisms, etc. on newer MH's.
I may not be fair about this because I have not seen or been in a CVC that has a slide. These are just my thoughts from talking to other larger motorhome owners that say slides become a problem at some point or another and require expensive work done. I am not an expert in the field. This is one more thing to do in set up and putting down at a stop or campground (probably takes 5 seconds though...) The RT seems roomy enough for our tastes. The mirrors and windows/layout bring out that effect. I would need to be convinced that a slide is a good idea on a CVC.
Maybe if anyone on this forum that has a Great West Van's Classic Supreme RV can comment.

I hope I'm not misinterpreting a previous comment about "you can't put a slide-out in a Sprinter," but I would like to point out the Winnebago View/Navion series of Sprinter-based frames with optional slide-outs. We test-drove a few and found them to be excellent rigs (albeit more suitable to Class C than B). Even so, we opted to purchase a Roadtrek 210 Versatile instead.

Yes, it's Safari Condo with a rear slide (movable bed extension that requires the rear doors to be open.
Here's a link
Here's a movie showing the slide in action

What's a View or Navion? Aren't they Sprinters with slide-outs?

Class C's... on cutaway chassis.
downrivers asked: Are there any vans that have a slide out
The original post pertains to slides on vans, not cutaways.
2 Big Cruisers, The Little Man, and Bailey / ARcruiser's Class B's (the first 8)
