My apologies to kakampers and The Texan.
I knew my insensitive clarification of an acronym (LEO) would hurt someone's feelings. I take it all back.
Bill is right! I'm sure that Kathleen and Robert and I could find something in common to talk about around the campfire.

Law Enforcement Officers RV Culb. I like the idea and would like to be kept posted of any up dates. But as for any meetings, I am not sure about that part wondering where we would hold our meeting? As for Clubs already in place we have the Ten 13 Club, The Blue Knights, Thin Blue line, The The Fed's use the FOP as a club, but cut out the union part of the FOP. Then what would we name it? As for the word "COP" in the name I would have a problem with that part and most officers know why. Police Officers Motor Club or Motor home Lawman. The name may have to be worked on a bit. Then we would need a sign or logo of some kind the thin blue has with the Black flag and Blue line across the center for the Thin Blue Line
As for all officers here in this forum, Retired or as one put it still on shift, let me say "thank you" For each day, night, sunday, holiday, special bithday missed, for just putting on that uniform.
For no other person, that I know of has learned how not to cry at a sad event/accident than an officer at the door of a mother who just lost a son/daughter to a DUI. Officers get a bad rap from time to time, but I know of no other in blue who will go in when everyone is running out after shots fired. We do ask a lot from them in Blue, TRUST, HONOR and most of all INTEGRITY. Thank you for each day you served our Country, State, City, Hospital, Airports, Jails and along our 96,000 miles of US borders 24/7. "THANK YOU"
As for me, I am no Police Officer. I do like the idea, please keep me posted...

06 Winnebago, TOUR 36' W/3 sliders. My towing system is the "Unified Tow Brake" I'm old and slow and most always in the right lane.
Each state,s definition of a LOE is different. I live & work in NJ. I am a state corrections sergeant. In NJ, correction officers are LEO's. We have full police powers, power of arrest, can carry off duty. I am a member of the FOP. Now from what I can gather, not many state's corrections are LEO's. NJ, NY, CA, FL, RI, I know are LEO's.....not sure about the rest of this great country though. Someone once told me that there are only about 7-8 states who's corrections have full police powers.
Be safe

Massachusetts, they are corrections - however - I still treat them with the respect that they deserve. We all have the same customers - and frankly, when "they" are in there, "they" are not out here.

Thank you for the post - you obviously understand us well!
How about if you're the spouse of an LEO? DH is an LEO but he's not online much at all (but does have an RV.Net account). I'm the one who plans our RV outings, reads the posts, etc.
