The camper is hitched up, Bob will be home a 6:45 am tommorrow morning we'll be on the road at 7am should be there by 2PM or earlier if I don't need to many stops.
Dave- Don't forget your turkey fryer. Looks like the weather should be good for the fish fry and the potluck. A friend dropped off 5 dozen ears of sweet corn, so if anyone feels like peeling them, I will bring them with for the Saturday Brat/Burger fry. We'll make good use of the turkey fryers this weekend I'm hoping to be there by 2pm on Friday. Have my spot level for me Marty.

The deep fryer is packed, along with a 20# propane bottle.
Also, for those comig up early, check in is at 3:00. You may want to call ahead to make sure your site is open if you're there before that. From what I've been told they have a full house this weekend!
Joe, we can soak the sweet corn in water and roast it on the big grills. We just need to take the silk off the corn and wrap em back up. I can find a few kids to help. I've only got 5 in our trailer this weekend might as well put them to work. Pray for good weather. Wendy

Actually, if you soak it in salt water for a couple hours, it's better to leave the silk on. It helps seal in the moisture. Only problem is that cooking 5 dozen ears of corn over a hot fire on a hot summer night is no fun. Believe me, I did two dozen last weekend. Then stupid me did hobo dinners on the fire the next night. Thank god they had a pool Plus we would need like five fires to do that many.
