OKDOKIE we have the oysters so there will be shooters on the BBQ for those that like their oysters steamed open and then a shot of butter and hotsauce or your choice. We will do some on Thursday and again on Friday. Since they will be fresh we will work on saving some for Saturday also.

We FINALLY got our trailer back from Clear Creek today. I'd have had it last Friday except that when they parked it out in the lot, they mushed the TV to Trailer connector cable (I hate that thing too; this is the fourth one we've had in a year) and cut it in half. To add insult to injury, they THEN tucked it up under the propane tanks as though nothing had happened. What the heck did they think??? That we wouldn't notice? To their credit Kevin, the service manager handling my trailer, was pretty upset with the crew and replaced the whole shebang, right down to a new plug, for free.
Now I just have to get out there and wash the thing so it doesn't look like homeless people live in it. The awning is gray. Normally it is blue and white. I hope they fixed the kitchen sink. If not, I'm washing dishes in someone else's trailer.
Bob, I'm sorry to hear that about Art Shelly. I don't know if I met him or not at last year's rally. Either way, it's always sad when we lose one of our own.

I picked up 10 dozen oyster this evening. The place is Northern Fish Products 3911 S 56th St., Tacoma. and they do have clams. I am not a clam person so do not know any thing about them or what kind for what. There hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm. We are headed out first thing in the morning. Sorry to hear about Art.
Ahhh darn it... Art was one of the nicest bread drivers I knew and had known him for years as I would run into him several times a week as I was delivering laundry to the different stores..
On a happier note,I found some shrimps at Safeway and got the pineapple,Green peppers and will bring some rum to use as a sauce.. I've got the Garlic and black bean sauce ready for some of the stir fried clams,etc..Also a bit of gin for the shrimp and gin..
I'M READY !!!!!!and it's gonna be a hot one.. I'm really looking forward to the heat...

Outta here in just a few minutes. Looking forward to meeting all of the old friends (especially HOBO who is SO OLD) and making new ones. I will be taking donations for diesel so I can make the return trip.
Hobo, I have the sockeye salmon I promised you in the freezer.
What a beautiful day to start the rally. Hope to be at the park before noon to greet everyone as they come in. If I miss anyone don't forget to get your packet that Pat and Linda (RVLady) made up for you.
See you at the rally, Tom
