We made it home safe and sound around 7pm or so. I, uh, made Tom take a detour in Portland so I could go run wild through Fabric Depot.

I can speak for both of us when I say we had an EXCELLENT time! It was so good to see everyone and to enjoy each other's company and share our meals and everything we do.

I'd like to make an especial set of thank-you's to Tradewinds and Hobo for helping Tom fix our stupid tongue jack (Tradewinds for the labor and Hobo for the tools), and to the other guys who stood around and gave helpful advice. I don't mean that flippantly either. Everything each of you did for us is deeply appreciated!!!

I love the new jack. It is manual. Means it hopefully won't fail me unless my arm is broken.

Okay, let's get started on 2009!

We had a fantastic time with all the great people at the rally. It's amazing so many were so compatible when the only common element was to own an RV and be on this forum.

Our thanks to all the hard work by all those involved. The food and drinks were outstanding. Many members put a lot of effort into making this an enjoyable outing, and it showed.

Donna, give all the rally info here--I kept my mouth shut so I didn't steal your thunder! Then you can start a new thread--we will continue to chat here on this rally for some time I imagine. Already looking forward to next year--you will be a great Wagonmaster!

Thanks for posting the pictures. I recognized many faces from previous rallies and noticed many new ones. I did notice a few things; Bigdog and Tradewinds never ventured far from where the food was being cooked, and I'm not sure Fishinghat ever got out of his chair! Obviously, you all had a great time and I'm sure are looking forward to next years rally.

We had a great time this year! It was a bit hot on Friday though. It was nice to see everyone again and we're looking forward to next year.

Speaking of which, Ryegal, the wagonmaster for next year's rally, has conned me into taking care of the thread for next year's rally and any other computer stuff (she must think I know what I'm doing ). I'll get the thread started shortly and post a link to it here in this thread. And I'll see if I can PM it to everyone listed on post #1.
