Look at all this old junk, why would anyone ever want to camp next to an RV that is more than 10 years old.

New RVs are nice but they have no class.

HAS ANYONE ON HERE ACTUALLY HAD THEIR 10 YR OLD RV TURNED AWAY ????
I have stayed at cg's with a 10 yr rule with my preiviously owned 1984 Winnie and my 1994 Newmar. They asked the yr and came out to looked at my rv, and said fine, no problem. Not 1 but 4 or 5 with this rule. Never had a problem. My rv's were well kept and clean. One of the cg's was brand new and very inexpensive, with weekend specials, the other a very high price private resort in key west, they had no problem with my 1984 Winnie, got pics to prove it. Lets deal with reality and stop whining, unless you have had actual personal experiences. Then I want to see a pic of your rig, if any cg turned away a NICE older rv, BOYCOTT THEM, post them here, or shut up and deal with it..

P.S. By the way, consider THIS, I'm 6ft, 250lbs, long hair and covered in tatoos, and I have NEVER been turned away anywhere...

Not to go off topic(which never happens here) When I return to cg's that I frequent, you can't believe all the "where is your dog ?" I get.
In Daytona this July, as I'm setting up, can't tell you all the people ( there is a big group that returns every yr) that come up to me and ask about the dog before they say hi to me LOL. She is actually very sweet, just like her owner..

Don't understand this post. Why do people ask ? What kind of Dog do you have?

Exactly !!! In my years managing I have had MANY, MANY folks complain to me about a yucky rig parked next to them, but maybe two that were ever turned away. Even though we have the rule in case we need it, as I have stated, we only use it if a rig (and or occupants) are nasty. Yes, people sometimes a person is in a beautiful spanking new rig and we don't want them in the park.

What is next, a rule that after twenty years, we have to bulldoze our stick homes?

Like it or not, the rule of a capitalistic economy is based on the gold standard. Economic success through hard work, luck, trickery, theft, deception or legacy provides the status and privilege that sets us apart from "those others". Money buys position, justice, security, access to write the law, property and its use, privilege, and much more. The church needs your money as does Walmart, your Representatives, the ACLU, John Birch, etc. It's the reality of life as we know it, and we've yet to find a substitute for it.

Guess the USA is not a Capitalistic economy. Gold standard? I do know something about a 90/10 standard. 10 rich and 90 something else.
