Pancake Breakfast Update

Setup should start about 6:30 AM, serving breakfast from 8 AM to 10 AM.

Initial count is that 84 of the 111 attendees should arrive either Wednesday or Thursday.

Cyber has volunteered the Pancake Mix

Garyr has PM’ed with “assign us anything-we will be glad to help or any donations you need please let us know”

robo1a has volunteered to man the grille and assist in any way needed. They will also stop at shady maple and pick up some pa dutch links.

We have paper plates and tableware.

Still looking for more volunteers !

We need coffee pots, juices, milk for the kids. And anyone who knows how to bake a breakfast casserole.

Keep the PM’s coming!

Pot Luck Update

We know that everyone is bringing something to the pot luck on Saturday Night, so how 'bout telling us what you are planning to bring so we can all plan on how hungry to be when we arrive. Here is all that we have so far.

  • Vicki -- cooking that special Italian Beef
  • cranej -- Watergate Salad and possibly a spaetzle dish (pasta).
  • Sandy & Shirley -- jambalya and an eclair cake, we've also got two bags of napkins, a box of 500 knives and 500 forks left over from last year!
  • biggsbasement -- bringing special chicken (LOL) and a pineapple upside down cake.

Pleasse send us a PM so we can update the website page.

Maybe another rally or get together

Last year we went to Spring Gulch campground the weekend after Labor Day. That is when they have their annual “Grandparent’s Day / Crabs and Corn Weekend”. Maryland Crabs and sweet Lancaster County corn dinner, reservations required. Variety of activities for grandparents and grandkids, including the live band Crusin' Down Memory Lane playing Saturday.

They currently have plenty of sites available. Before we make our reservations, we were wondering if anyone else is interested. If there is enough interest we can add it to the rally list on the forum. If only a few, we can just try to get some sites close to each other.

If you are familiar with Spring Gulch, the sites on the lower level are closer to the activity building, but are not full hookup, ie, no cable and the sites are not as nice. The sites at the top have full hookups, including cable, and are close to the pool and hot tub.

PM us if you are interested or if you have any questions.

Sure, you can wait until Xmas to get one too! DOH! Of course camping season will be over!

One more thing to set up? Well I guess those of us who still have HTTs will just have to suck it up and deal with it, along with the tacky lights, name signs, RVQ and my fav, a flag pole.

I'll have to check out BBB also for the tree.....I thought it was the idea to be the camper with the most toys/ and tackest lights LOL

Oh well called BBBY and they said they don't have them this year
