We are so ready for this...I just hope we can make it at all now...we have had the worst week I really need this trip NOW!!
This week has been a mess.....first work didn't pay for some of the jobs so checks were wrong then they took part of the work away for the following week because of someones mess up....then we found out the only one there that can usually fix the messes is leaving.
Then I tried to go to work and my car won't start and its broke down....then hubby called just now and he is stuck on road because the tongue of the trailer broke off and he is way up in brick today.
He is loaded with equipment and a customers order that has to be done today and its already almost two and it is a 4-5 hour job...we still have to pack /shop/ load and figure out how we are going to get him home with the trailer and get the job done.
Still have a ton of cooking that has to be done and can't get to store to get stuff till he gets home since I have no car.....
Then to top it all off ...ready for this one .....one of the puppies chewed up my husbands BRAND new plate for his teeth (this should be great fun, he now has no front teeth till we can get it fixed/re-made) Maybe Chris is right about animals LOL never thought a dog would eat teeth !!
This is one week I don't want to repeat.
Then the weather is suppose to be bad too.....we just can't catch a break
***sigh**** I need a MAJOR DRINK......

We got in this afternoon, but are just getting into comfies and settling in, after getting some firewood, making a Walmart run to get little stuff we forgot, etc. They were out with the weedwackers when we arrived, making sure the sites were freshly trimmed, but there IS alot of poison ivy around, so beware Beverly has been through the loop at LEAST 3 times already, checking on folks and making sure we don't need anything! So far, everything is GREAT
About to start the evening campfire, pop a top, and CHILL.... Ahhhhhhh.....
Thanks for the update Tina--I guess I will add some more jeans to the wardrobe, sounds like it is going to be a cool weekend. See you all tomorrow around noon(do you think they will let us check in early?)
