Ack!

That was you who called when I was there getting my golf cart. I was talking with Beverly and then she spoke with you and gave you back to someone else.

I am always checking my reservation status and bank account in sync to make sure I am good to go. Almost all my reservations are paid in full either at the time of the reservation or I may get a note from the CG a month or two prior.

Beverly is really trying to mend fences with all issues ASAP.

What is check-in time there?

Holding up for now but slipping fast.

It is 3:00 but I was here at 2:00. No probs. I know GaryR was in before Noon but unknown if he paid additionally to do so.

We are here! Using my aircard! Quite a few people already here! Sporoo got in the same time as me. We got here around 1:30p, all set up and are now relaxing with a drink in hand. Temps are on the warm side right now. Mostly cloudy with some breaks for the sun to peep thru.

The weather radar shows the precip to be right on top of us. Should be raining soon.

Camper is packed and just needs to be hooked up...looking out my office window and it's pretty dog gone yucky out...hope it clears out for set up. We'll be leaving as soon as school let's my daughter out (we'll be sitting in the parking lot hitched) which is about 4pm...so should be there around 5:30-6:00 barring traffic issues.

Hello, We are here enjoying our 5th Gettysburg Rally... Weather was great yesterday ... Today is basically wet..

Hot dog night was great as usual it was also great to see some of our old friends and make some new ones... I think this mornings breakfast was the best ever.

The campground looks great. I was a little apprehensive until we arrived and got settled in our site... I really liked our old site which we had been in the previous 4 years. I now have a new favorite site...Picture below.. Its very long, plenty wide leveling was a none issue.

Beverly and the rest of the staff have been A plus. Beverly joined our group for breakfast this morning but I have seen her in an around our section since we got here yesterday afternoon... She and her husband live in one of the historical houses in downtown Gettysburg. Very nice lady and very committed to making everyones stay as pleasant as possible.

I think we are going to go take the UTZ potatp chip Factory tour (hey its raining) and later we are going to the new Gettysburg visitor center and museum.. I think we will also go to a couple of specific Gettysburg Battle field locations...

Also planning on going over to the Gettysburg Campground to visit the rest of our old Gettysburg gang.

Good morning those of you still not here or those we have not seen yet today.

What a yucky overnight with all the rain and dampness.

Currently it is 54 degrees and a chilly 59 in the ROO. Had to put the heater on once back from the breakfast event.

Speaking of which. A great time was had by all. Many folks put in a lot of effort for the b-fast as well as the hot dog social last evening. On a day like today getting everyone out of their trailers into a warm building with great food is a bonus.

The clearing weather trend will be slow. Most of the day it is still looking like 50-60% precip. The significant changes will take place later this evening. Hopefully by campfire/social time tonite we can at least sit out without raindrops. If not, tomorrow looks like a brighter day for sure.

I declare it is time for a nappy!

Take care and safe driving to all enroute.

We will be hitting the road shortly, and looking forward to arriving. If the weather there is like it is here, I suspect I will be a bit wet after set up is complete.
