Yall have a safe drive. The weather is crappy at the moment, but it's supposed to clear up by campfire time. I'm in total agreement with Robo... NAP TIME!

Cheers!

Oh man...nap time in his new bedroom....must be like having a suite at a great hotel. Looking forward to seeing the new setup. 1.5 hours of work left to go..then get the kids and we're off. Been sweating wehter the dealership was going to have my Tahoe fixed in time today, but they just called with the all clear to come get it. (supposed to have been done yesterday!)

Eric and I made the trek to the new Gettysburg visitors center this morning after breakfast. Got our "passport" stamped. We've done the drive tour before so we didn't bother this time. We then made a visit to WalMart and Giant to get some last minute supplies for tomorrow nights dinner. Not raining at the moment but it's currently 57 degrees outside and about 65 here in the HTT. We too turned on the furnace heat after breakfast.

Safe travels to you all who are traveling to get here today/tonight. If the weather holds out, maybe we'll be sitting in our chairs having a drink when you guys pull in!

Since I can see your campsite(30 FEET AWAY) Joanne, me thinks you will be sitting under the awning or outside in rain gear. It ain't letting up. Drat!

Mindy...

You won't get this before you leave but that was living on the edge with the dealership. Man. Reservation gone awry and bad weather too. Gotta love it.

Just a quick reminder... The softball game is at 1pm and the address is 545 Long Ln, Gettysburg.

Now all I've gotta do is get Tina out of bed so she and Larry Cad can host the thing.... LOL

We are home! Closed the tent ends before the rain so our tent ends are dry!! We also got home before the rain hit here!!

Sorry we didn't get to say bye as we were gone by 9am. We are early birds! Hope everyone has/had a safe trip home! I will post the link when I've downloaded the pics!

Just got home - but the weather here is worse than Gettysburg! I'm still hitched up and closed up! As soon as the wind dies down and the rain subsides, I'll unhitch, open up, and let the ends dry out! But other than that, we had a safe 3 hour trip home! It was GREAT seeing everyone and meeting new people! Everyone have a safe trip home!

I got home at 2:00 after dropping Alex off enroute. Ugly ride indeed.

Saw the Cranes head out and Biggsbasement was about the same time if not earlier.

I too apologize for not saying good-bye to anyone. Honestly, I was a bit cranky and very wet. Lost one helper at 7:00 and the other one was not focused especially with the rain once he was out of bed!.

Really wanted to hang out at Frank & Sharons last night but between the weather and running out of energy it was not happening.

I can honestly say that this was one of the worst weather weekends in quite a long time. In the two years plus four trips in '08 with the ROO nothing has ever been this wet and extended. Those of us who went to the NY Rally last year found ourselves a bit wet our last evening and early morning heading home but it was great the rest of the time.

Not really complaining but this is one of those times that with all the good friends in one place it would have been nice to have some decent weather. Never needs to be perfect.

I did enjoy the Friday night gathering at my site. I do remember most conversations! The fire was not bad either.

Many thanks to Sandy & Shirley, Cyber and everyone else that made this rally good in spite of the weather.

If Beverly reads our thread, thanks to you too!

Great pics Joanne!
