5:30 PM... Just pulled in... Big tie-up on I-95N. Time to do laundry and empty the fridge.

Great seeing everyone again! Where's the thread for GB 6?

Cheers!

Sorry about the lost helper there Robo...think I know where he went because somehow, I didn't have to lug the wood pack into the camper..Phil had someone else do that with him. ;-) BTW: my dd got a phone call at 2pm...guess who LOL.

Not to worry Mindy.

I saw him putting a phone number in his Palm after one of the forays up the lane. I figured he was up to no good! Hah!

After all these years I cannot begrudge him these little things. My oldest was my right hand man for many years. I am good to go solo most of the time but the weather today and all the other necessary 'stuff' we need to drag along camping (for Alex's benefit as well!) takes more time to put away than to take out.

Cranej..I saw you pulling out with a golf cart following as I sat at my dinette studying, drinking coffee, and listening to DH snore. Wanted to wave, but your backside wouldn't have waved back LOL.

Eric and Joanne do have the ROO 'Getaway' well rehearsed. I have seen it at Elk Neck, New York and now GB.

Argh!

I am glad I stuck with just the double shots of Joanne and Eric's drink. Of cours Sporooski was not aware that my shot glass was two ounces and not one!

Darn...

I really should have used my camera yesterday at the non-softball game.

Robo1A's Rubicon has a really nifty piece of after-market equipment.

The spare tire holder is actually a CG trash bag holder too!

Had to be a HEFTY bag to have made it from DB through the streets of Gettysburg and to the soggy softball field many miles later!

We're home (I'm in Dover, and it still feels funny to say HOME!?) and mostly unpacked. About to toss some steaks on the grill and start laundry going.

Thank you again, to all the FANTASTIC folks that made this rally so great! We cherish our friendship with each and every one of you folks, along with those memories made in the haze of late-night campfires We had a WONDERFUL time, as always

Cyber Jim - You da MAN!
Robo, Frank/Sharon & Jay - Thanks for keeping those campfires burning, and making us all feel welcome, as well as all the late-night laughs!
Beverly - Thanks for doing a FANTASTIC job of making sure everyone's needs were met!
Sandy/Shirley, and all the volunteers that helped with the cooking/set-up/clean-up - Thanks for EVERYTHING (even those extra 3 pounds I probably brought home - LOL!)!

And lastly, Thank You to EVERYONE that took the time (even though we were all seriously hung over) to come out to the park for the softball game and picnic, even though it was a tad wet and windy! My deepest apologies that the event was a "bust". I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am that it didn't work out, and that most of the folks from the other group decided not to expend the effort to even show up, especially since we had stopped by their campground the evening before, and many told us "see you at the ballgame tomorrow". We had hoped to facilitate a time/place for everyone to visit with friends we don't see often. The best we can do is try, which we all did. Special thanks to Tony, Maria and Joy, who came over to show their support and spend time with friends. I thank those who came for their time and effort. As for the rest, what can I say.....?
