I've seen a lot of support for spraying PAM on the front of vehicles to make lovebug removal easier in Florida. I just had a conversation with a close friend who has been a body and paint man for 20+ years, and he said DON'T spray PAM on paint, when the sun hits it is designed to withstand heat and literally cooks the paint. He suggested smearing baby shampoo on the front instead, straight, right out of the bottle.
Wife drives it FAST, hubby fixes it when it breaks.

I did the Pam bit one time and it baked on harder than a lexan shield, in only 1 days driving in the hot sun. It took me the next 4 days, working several hours every evening to get the mess off the front of the RV. I hope sometime to see someone else do the same thing so I can watch them scrub and scrub and scrub.

I bought some Rejex and use it regularly on my nose cone. Works great. Have to apply it about every 3-4 months, but the love bugs come off pretty easy.

Your looking for something to make Love Bug removal easier so you already accepted that you will have them stuck to the front of your RV. My son lives right in the heart of Love Bug country (Lakeland, FL) and he has found that, after listening to dad's crazy idea, a wet clothes dryer will wipe them right off, even those that have been baked on all summer.

Very true and what I use now, but it is hard on wax, so that is a little more labor to think about.
I use a mixture of:
Simple Green
Water Softener
Car Wash Soap
Water
In a spray bottle mixed in equal parts.
Get the buggy part of the car in the shade.
Spray it with water to get it cooled down.
Spray it with the soap. Let it soak in.
Hit it with some high pressure spray, or if you don't have a pressure washer, use a low pressure hose and a magic erase.
With a huge mess on my wifes van it took me about 15 minutes to debug the car.
Don't take your organs to heaven. Heaven knows we need them here.

Years ago when I was working 7-12's installing phone systems, I was commuting 120 miles each day. I would get home too tired to wash the bugs off yet if you didn't, you were going to damage your fine car, much less SEE in the morning. So I would turn on an oscillating sprinkler set to halfway, on low, so it would go back and forth over the front end all night. When I went out in the morning all I had to do was jet them off with the nozzle. Now I just soak them good and use a soft brush with whatever Sams Club is selling by the gallon this month ie Turtle Wash or Armorall Car Wash. The dryer sheets work good too.
I tried the PAM thing too and it is a disaster. All PAM is is vegetable oil and it dries to a varnish-like hardness. Keeping lots of wax on helps a ton.
Tried the dryer sheets for the first time this week and IT WORKS! We'll be taking a full box with us this summer. I figure if it works on lovebugs, it'll work on anything.
