Hey, don't use up ALL the youth on team captains. Some of us older folks need pinch runners. LOL I can whack a ball with the best of them, but there's no point in doing it if the ball beats me to first base.

Good, YOU hit the ball, and I'LL run! I can't hit a baseball to save my soul - LOL! I was always the LAST kid picked for a baseball team in school  When my daughter was little, she tried to teach her ma to hit. Took me out in our cul-de-sac with a whiffle ball. After about a zillion tries, and a MOUNTAIN of patience on her part, I FINALLY hit the ball....once....right into the neighbor's window  !
But....if we ever play kickball, I ROCK at that game! LOL!
