Hmm...Six straight posts by herewego (Jim). Let's see, is he board, tired from the drive, lost this weeks lotto, or feeling really neglected?

Someone should probably check out the swimming pool area and see if the water is in the pool and warm. Me thinks Jim is ready for a welcoming swim.

shhhhhh!!! We are planning to throw him in the river that runs through the campground later today!!!

Larry, did you guys give Jim his "wake-up" swim?

We had an interesting drive home last night. We had an enjoyable time visiting over dinner with a few of our Ohio Rally Group friends. Sharyl and I had spent the day cruising around Ohio Amish country and then dinner with our friends. It seemed to be THE great ending to a great day. Little did we know what Wilma(our GPS) had in store for us. She took us home through every little burg and winding back road it could find. (it was kinda fun though) Only to lead us into St. Louisville, where a lapse in attention led to us being stopped by the local constabulary for traveling through his village a little too fast. Once pulled over I couldn't find my license. Seems I had left it home and had been driving around all day without it. The officer was kind enough to let us go stating that "We weren't the kind of drivers he was looking for". He kind of chuckled when he saw Sharyl move into the driver's seat and said asked if she was going to do the driving now and I said I couldn't very well continue driving without my license. She finished the drive home with no further incident.

Larry, I wish I could have been there to help although I know Jim was a help to you in ways I couldn't even think of.

Great to see all of you again! And welcome to the "new guys"!

Battlefield Tour, Outlet Shopping, potluck dinner, campfires, good conversation - great memories.

Seems like we plan and plan for a gathering, then before you know it, it's time to pack up and leave!

Everyone have a safe trip home or wherever you're headed.

Jim and I were talking this weekend about changing the website to cover all of the events that the entire Gettysburg group set up and attend each year, Lancaster, Turning Stone, Elk Neck, etc. Before I do that, I’d like a question answered.

As I understand it, Larry Cad had the original idea for a softball game on Saturday where both the gathering and the rally groups could meet. He worked out the details with Tina who reserved and paid for the field. Both Tina and Chris and Shirley and I were at the gathering site on Friday just to visit with everyone else and had people say, see you tomorrow. 25 people from the rally showed up and not one single person from the gathering was there. The excuse we got was that everyone was still working on Jim’s inverter.

Was your entire group watching the wrenches turn? Is there another reason that we followed through on an idea that originated with your group while your group totally ignored it?
