Lots to catch up on...
Congrats on the new grandbaby, Jake and Lidea - she's beautiful!
Tina, you sound busier than a one legged man in a you know what contest! If you get to Tahiti, have a cocktail on the beach for me
We're heading to CT to visit friends this weekend. Jonathon helped me pack, we're picking up Charles from school in a while and then getting Chris at work and we're off...
Can't wait to camp again soon though!

OFFICIAL GATHERING BUSINESS.......

Since many of our camping friends are split between the two campgrounds this year, and to give everyone a chance to see and visit with ALL of our friends, after quite a bit of communication, we have FINALLY secured a softball field and Pavilion at a local park on Saturday, 5/17, from 1-4 p.m. for a friendly softball game and picnic

Come one, come all, and bring bats, balls and gloves, if you have them, since this old gal DOESN'T! LOL! In the interest of fairness, we'll likely have two of the older teens be team captains, and let THEM pick teams - LOL! In the interest of safety for the little ones, please only allow your children to play if they're 13 or older. Sorry, but we don't want anyone getting hurt, other than the pulled muscles that us older folks will likely be suffering the next day - LOL!

If you'd like to bring a picnic lunch, or drinks, feel free. We've got the covered pavilion reserved and it will hold up to 130 folks

The address of the park, for those with GPS's is: 545 Long Lane, Gettysburg, PA.

Here's the link:

Please PM me and let me know if you'll be coming, so we have some idea of a headcount.

Thanks! Can't wait to see EVERYONE again

Cool! You gotta promise to ONLY use the bat on the ball, though - LOL! VAJay has volunteered to be an ump, since he dislocated his knee a week ago. He says bribes...ummmmm...donations, can be mailed to him - LOL! I thought Robocop's son, Alex, would make a good choice for one captain, if he's coming. I need a teen from your camp for the 2nd captain, but am not familiar with all the kids. Any ideas? Volunteers? Bruce/Jill or Dave/Ris, how about one of your girls? Anybody else got a teenager to offer? LOL! The two captains can pick teams when we get there.

Just out of curiosity, how many do we NEED for a team? (Tried to warn you, I am NOT a sports fan, so my knowledge in that area is nil - LOL!)

Morning all. Been traveling all this week, a busy week at 3 different posts throughout the midwest...not a lot of time to catch up on things so that's what this Saturday will consist of...reports due at work this morning, so heading in for a few hours, then to the store, the post office, a quick trip to the gas station and then over to the coach to load some laundry that's been sitting in my back seat for the past month in hopes of it finding it's way to the storage lot...but it hasn't!

Anyhow, JAKE AND L'IDEA....congrats! What a great set of photos. How cute! Ahhh, the look on Jakes face in most of them is priceless! What a great time!

Sandy, so sorry I've not been able to touch base and let you know what the status was...didn't expect to get 'tossed' around the midwest all week, was only supposed to go to Fort Sill, then home but hit Wisconsin and Minnesota as well...didn't have much of an opportunity (without cell coverage in the field most of the time) so have a great time at the play today and wish her well for me too!

Chris and Barb, PM me with confirmation that the email I received from Charles was legit...too much spam and phising out there to give so want to confirm it's a good request before making my pledge!

Talk to you all soon....have a great weekend once again!

Paul...welcome back!

Busy day today. First communion at 5:00. Dinner afterward. Friends in from Massachusetts. Family. Hectic. Fun times though, indeed.

Kasey's first win of the year tonite at Richmond. Motorhome is going to be parked in the restaurant parking lot. Satellite. I'll post a picture.

Hope the Turning Stoners are enjoying themselves. Wish we were there. We LOVE that campground and that area. Great place to camp.

Tina....Nice job on the softball game.

Well...everyone enjoy their day.

Jim - Give Maddie a big hug from us for her 1st Communion! Way to go

Counting the days until GB! Can't WAIT to see everyone again, and the great weather is making it tough to NOT be out camping - LOL! Oh well, maybe an afternoon walk on the beach will suffice

Got a PM nominating Kristy, Dave & Ris' oldest daughter, for a team captain.

So, will she be there?
