Hello Everyone, June is moving fast and furious. It's time to start putting together an itinerary of daily events. Any suggestions? Also, any fund raising ideas for Old Fella's new building? I'll bring the same fire ring and extra wood . ABC will help coordinate local entertainment.

That sounds like a good idea and should work fine.
Sure glad no one was hurt in the storms! Was thinking about you all.

50/50 ticket sales always seems to generate some money.

50/50 ticket sales sounds good, if any vendors donate any items we could auction those like we did at the Rally before. I will donate a monogramed throw with the same design that I put on the bandanna's. Of course it will be black and gold also.

What do you think about each of us calling on some of our local rv dealers to get them to donate any good stuff? Start with the dealers we bought out Rvs from. This way the number of contacts will be more great and more goodies. I'll call Good Sam, Camping World, and the Carriage factory. Any other ideas or contacts????

Good idea about contacting dealers. Someone brought some RV.NET stickers to the first rally that we had, don't know who they got them from but they were free, there was some oher RV.Net stuff but I don't remember what, seems like key chains or something like that.
I need for each member that wants a bandanna to send me the loose neck size of your animal (Dog or Cat) and the name you want on the bandanna. These are free and I will bring them to the Rally instead of mailing them out.
Send this info by private message.

Those goodies were from our local Camping World. There were mouse pads, note pads, keychains, stickers, and a bunch of other stuff I've probably forgotten. I had talked to the manager early in the year about the rally and he said "no problem," but asked me to remind him a few weeks before the event. When I went back he had all kinds of goodies. Unfortunately, that Camping World store has moved.

We could contact our local Walmart's. Best time to contact them is the last day of the month for gift certificates, or first of the month. "Best buy" is good too. Bring copies of the Old Fellah cause and dates of rally and where rally. Make several copies of this to leave with businesses.
Collect certificates that can be used in any branch of these stores for any state. Camping world is also good. You need to contact someone in their main offices. A lady but can't remember her name. KOA will sometimes give some small stuff. Like litter bags, books and some 10 percent off one stay at a KOA park.
I can not ask these places again because they have donated for me at past other rallies but you all can.
We may furnish pasteries and donuts one morning for the rally.
