Deer Everybody, I shur wish June wud hurry and get here. I am luking 4ward to seeing a bunch of you at the Old Fella Rally. I sur hope you will really try to make it. There R a bunch of U that I have not met yet and wud really like to see as many as I can. So far, it seems like there R only 10 rigs signed up to come to Branson. OK.. I talked to Michelle at ABC today for an update.We still have 10 rigs reserved.This is a good jump start but would love to see more. Anyone with any ideas on how to get the word out, please speak up.
Camp Little Paws will be arriving on Friday with their agility equipment as they did last year. So I thought we could have our doggie parade between 5 & 6PM on Friday and the agility fun after that. There will be no Pony this year because Dixie Stampede does not have the pony any longer.
Also, I thought it would be fun to go to Dixie Stampede as a group on Saturday. If there are more than 15 tickets purchased, we get the group rate of $40.15 per person which includes the tax. The head count has to be in early with a serious commitment because there is a $200 deposit to get this rate. Last year the non-group rate was around $48.13.
I put together a tentive schedule of events. Let me know what you think.
June 4th 5pm registration... bring a covered dish and your choice of meat and the guys will grill it.
June 5th 8:00am Breakfast 5pm...Pot Luck and Ice Cream Social
June 6th 8:00am Breakfast...Barbecue 4PM-5pm..... 5pm-6pm...pet parade followed by Camp Little Paws agility exercise...6pm to 7pm. 8:00pm 50/50 pot
June 7th 8:00am Breakfast Dixie Stampeted 4:00pm
June 8th 8:00am everyone brings a canned fruit and bread to share followed by a brief church service and goodbys.
*** cards/games/talk around the campfire every evening at dusk

363petty, the agenda that has been put together sounds like it would work for all of us FOOF'S. Hopefully as time gets closer there will be more people that will commit. Sometimes it is hard to plan so far ahead of time. It would be impossible to schedule so that it would be convenient for all.

I sent a PM to the moderator to "stick" this rally thread at the top, but so far no action has been taken. Admin has to approve the move, and it's just been a few days, so maybe they just haven't gotten around to it yet.
