In addition to camping, I fly RC aircraft. In fact, in May I plan on camping in the pup at a fun fly in Georgia. Cheaper than a hotel room, since you can stay on the flight line for nothing.

I also love to cook. Camping just makes it all the better.

My wife would say she doesn't have a hobby, though truth be told, she loves to take pics of our almost-3 year old, and has gotten pretty good at it. She can do that anywhere, but she likes to take that camping as well.

Most of the time, I am absolutely happy just snishing and swishing, but on occasion, we like to go to the local drag strip and make a few passes with "The Mistress".

Well, I don’t have hobbies that I “take with while camping”. In fact, I don’t “camp”, either – generally despise campgrounds with all of their crowds, busy-bodies and oppressive rules. If I want to get “back to nature” or whatever, all I need to do is walk out the front door of my home on to our land; or sit on the deck.

On the contrary, the Class A, toad, etc, exist only to support my “hobby” (it’s really more of a way of life than a hobby) of upland bird hunting and guiding with pointing dogs. The RV is a sort of mobile hunting lodge. It allows the dogs and me to step out the door of our “lodge” directly into some of the most remote and beautiful places that still exist.

While on such trips, I (obviously) do some photography, and I also work in the evenings – keeping up on my own work, plus the management of my firm.

In the off-season, the moho is used to transport my wife (who is handicapped and can only travel in this manner) to visit one of our daughters who lives out of town; and to take her on “her” vacation, which usually consists of sitting on water somewhere. While doing that I will take my work with me as usual and will also engage in some competitive shotgunning, and work with the dogs. Photography seems to be an adjunct to all of those activities, as well.

Photography and diving. Even though I take pictures all week, I like doing it in my spare time as well.

While camping our hobbies would be, Visiting, playing cards, playing horseshoes, campfire cooking, long walks, fishing, campfire songs, roasting marshmallows, pic taking, more campfire cooking, book reading, craft projects for the wee ones, Did I mention campfire cooking?
Very seldom do we bring hobbies we have at home camping as there is just to much to do when camping!
