.... and yet another form thread about the Honda 2KW generator running or not running a 13,500 BTU RV air-conditioner. I wonder when someone is going to post on doing it "right", with one of these low energy 13.5K BTU RV air cons:

http://www.adventurerv.net/dometic-duo-t........e-brisk-air-conditioner-135k-p-5335.html

Maybe some posting in these type threads who report that they are running their 13.5K BTU A/Cs with the Honda 2K have, in fact, a unit like this on their rig and not even be aware of it.

If I was serious about economical low noise boondock/no-hookup desert camping in comfort, I'd rip out my stock energy-hog 13.5 air con and replace it one of the high-efficiency ones .... or better still refuse to take delivery of a new rig unless the dealer verified that the 13.5K air con on the roof was one like this.
