Our son served in the US Army, 75th Ranger Rgt 1st Ranger Bn, from April 2001 - April 2005 and saw combat in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He recently graduated from the Washington State Trooper's Academy.

I'm retired military (32 years). I would like to thank all military members serving in the war zone and throughout the world for their service to our country. May God bless them, keep them safe, and provide comfort to their family members. God bless the USA!

Our son in Korea just wrote for skateboarding shirts from home. We encourage him to enjoy his sport safely while he can. Not going to work in sand.

My appreciation goes out to all retired and active service men and women AND their families. Thank you very much for all you have done and given for us.

Congratulations to Teri whose son graduated this month from Navy boot in IL

Spread the word to remind all to remember troops over holidays too.

I do at least 6 hours a week volunteering with these folks and just joined fund raising committee. Johnson & Johnson and Hallmark two of our biggest product donators. Lots of school children, retiree's and college students involved too. Largest distribution center here in NC/Greenville. Cards from everyone, including kids, go along in care boxes with needed item donations to troops. All branches serving in war zones and in military hospitals. Cost to ship just one box is $16-$20 and we pay postage out of donations. All volunteers.

The upcoming holidays can be a very lonely time for those serving.
Remember them.
I did my 6 years '66-72. You really think of family when the holidays come if you are on a hardship tour of some sort and can't go home.

Son is home from Iraq now for nearly two years. Hoping he dosen't have to go back again before his tour is up. That was a long 15 months as he was a gunner in a Humvee providing protection to transportation units.

Happy Trails.
