My 20 year old son is serving in the US Navy. He is currently waiting his orders. He thinks he is going to Norfolk on the aircraft carrier George HW Bush, due to deploy in early 2009.

I'm serving as well now and I appreciate the prayers and support I and many of my fellow Airmen, Marines, Soliders, Sailors, and Coasties have received. Being a Chaplain, I see the effects of your support and prayers on each one who serves. Thanks for all you do. God Bless.

My daughter entered the Coast Guard the year I retired - so that has been 10 years. Time flies! She is now transferring to her 3rd cutter in Rockland, ME. She is a Machinery Technician First Class (MK1/E-6).

Our son Scott is in the USAF as a fireman, his 2 year anniversary was in Aug. Stationed in Mountain Home ID.
I have been really happy to see the support he gets vs what we, Marines, got back in 74-78.

thank you to all that are serving and that have served.
