Black Hills National Forest (Sullivan Lake CG I think?) and Custer SP, Blue Bell CG. Both were gorgeous, lighter on the facilities than a private CG but we prefer location over having a pool and Wi-Fi. Black Hill is more central, Custer has a lot more in the park to do (nature programs, horseback riding, dining). Highly recommend both.

Custer State Park was pretty basic in their facilities as far as camping goes and a lot of RVers didn't care for it due to no hookups. Gamelodge (east side of the park) and Grace Coolidge (more toward the middle) and added electric (30 and 50 amp) and made it much more attractive to RVers.
Sylvan Lake and both Stockade Lake CG are still w/o electric but very attractive none the less.
We will probably stay at Custer if we vacation there again. Scenery is outstanding as well as the wildlife viewing.
