Love my camper but, hate the shower. Is there anyone with any ideas on how to take a shower and keep the shower curtain off of your body? When it is wet it clings to you and I just hate it. I know there has to be some way of correcting this matter. If you push the curtain out a little then it leaks into the floor. Can't have that. So any ideas would be appreciated....

I use the ones with the metal weights at the bottom. Can't stand it touching me also. The metal weights get rid of that problem.

Replace with the pleated sliding door as we did.

Dang!!! I just seen an ad for a curved bar that you put in the door to hold the curtain out, but it still stays in the shower... and now I can't find it. I thought I seen in the FACA mag. I'll keep looking...

I was just going to post something about that. We stayed in a hotel this spring that had shower curtains whose bar curved out. It made the shower feel HUGE. I am kind of keeping my eye out for one for my house, I never really thought about the TT. Hmmmm.

Our Jayco has a small two-side corner-mount open shower configuration, so the sliding door or bowed-rod wouldn't work for us.

We purchased another length of ceiling mount shower track from a local dealer and mounted it in about an 8" curve out from the factory original. The new track was slightly different than the Jayco factory track, so we also had to purchase a new sew-on clip strip, new clips and a new curtain. The track, strip, and clips had to come from an RV dealer, but the curtain was on sale locally. The new curtain was longer than the factory curtain, so it doesn't pop-out of the tub area. Total cost of the job was less than $40, including the new curtain.

mie has had the pleated sliding curtain/door on it since new (2000)

If it ever goes bad I will replace it with the same.

To me installing one of those would be well worth the effort.

The curved shower curtains are avail at Lowes and prob Target or WalMart. I am not sure how they adapt to an RV. If you can make it work they make a huge difference!!!

I've got a dry bath in my camper. You can imagine the size of the shower... LOL. I simply replaced the thin curtain that came with the camper with a commercial grade heavy duty vinyl curtain from Home Depot and cut it to fit. I still bump into the curtain, but it doesn't stick and turn me into a taco.
