First, we have been very happy with our 2006 Weekend Warrior LE3105. We looked at them all, and found W/W to be the best combination in terms of design, interior appointments, quality, and reasonable price. Shopped all the dealers in southern California, and Travelon RV in Alpine easily beat them all, both in price and promised delivery time. We ordered our trailer exactly the way we wanted it, and seven weeks later, picked it up. Built exactly how we ordered it, clean, and all systems working. Did a very thorough pre-delivery inspection, Travelon fixed the couple of minor items on the spot, I wrote them a check, and away we went. Fast forward almost two years, and we have had very little trouble with the trailer. The few problems we did have, I found it easier to call W/W and have them send me the parts to fix it myself. I have probably had to work on the trailer about three hours total over 20 months. So far, a great ownership experience. Last month, we had some house guests staying with us for a couple weeks. We put them out in the trailer, which we keep at home, and always pugged in. After a week, they mentioned that the lights were dim, and the tiolet wouldn't flush. I checked it out, and the 12v system was dead. We moved them out of the trailer, and didn't look at it for a couple weeks. When I got around to dealing with it, I decided to take it in, and have a number of small items taken care of. The rear roll-down blinds were inop, the oven door glass was broken, a couple trim strips were separating from doors, little stuff like that. I made up a list, and called the Weekend Warrior Service Center. They said they could get it in a about six weeks, and expect to leave it there at least three weeks... So, I called Travelon RV. The service person; Tiffany, called me back, listened to my list, and said to bring it in the following week. Yesterday I took it in, Tiffany greeted me, helped park the trailer, and went over everything on the list. She also said she would go through the trailer and take care of anything I had missed. Getting ready to leave, she said she would call me Tuesday or Wednesday. Why? To come pick it up. She had already ordered the parts she thought she would need, and was actually going to get working on it.
She said they don't have a regular "service department", (which I knew) and that they do this only for their customers.
Travelon isn't a "giant" dealer, they don't have a fancy superstore mega-lot. They are my idea of a great dealer though. Lowest price. Delivery as promised. Trailer actually ready to go at delivery. Excellent after the sale service. Plus, they have always treated us with respect and professionalism.
Thats good to hear, I wish I would have bought from Travelon, but I felt I owed it to the saleperson who spent about 6+ hours with us before I ended buying. The next railer I buy will be from Travelon. Good to hear they treat their customers so well.
Doesn't look like a lot of folks interested in a dealer with excellent service...
Today, four days after I dropped it off, Travelon called and the trailer was ready to go. We drove out to pick it up; it was washed, cleaned inside & out, everything on my list was fixed, including a couple other little items they found. Total bill: ZERO. Elapsed time: four days. Items fixed: 100%+. Items not fixed: ZERO.
Stuff like this is great to hear and listed too seldom. It would be great because a search would turn up items like this instead of all of the headaches.
We are getting ready to purchase a Rage'n FS2600 and only have one local dealer in Fresno, CA that carries them. I bought my last travel trailer there and wasn't happy with the service dept. I have been in contact with a dealer in Atascadero/Paso Robles but that is 120 miles away. Based on feedback about Rage'n, I think I will be happy, but if I could get good feedback about a dealer I would be a lot more rest-assured about the decision.

I bought my first TH(Sandpiper) from "that" dealer down on the 99. Service after the sale? Ya, right.
Run away, far, far away. PM me for details, if you wish. C-Ya!!
