Well, we are almost ready, got our permits, went thru the rig and are getting everything ready, checking out all the systems.
I was reading back thru the postings and could not find out any schedule of events. I know not much is scheduled except for the big buffalo feed and a trip. Could someone post all the scheduled items for us?
It's been a while since we have been out and are READY!

Right now the buffalo feed is really the only "scheduled" thing I believe. Everything else is pretty much up in the air, as these mini rallies generally are, and should be. Pretty much do your own thing during the day, around the fire at night. (or some such thing)

Thanks for the updates. I thought there was very little "Scheduled".
We just wanted to make sure as Lory is trying to figure out her meals while we are camped.
Does anyone know what stores are available in town? Just in case we need any last minute supplies.
Been a long time since B4, but only 4 weeks more.
See everyone soon.

There is a local grocery about 3 miles from the camp grounds and NO TAX on food. There is a gas station with diesel that you do not pay road tax and usually can save about 15 cents a gallon. That is 8 miles from the campground so plan to buy gas/diesel there as you arrive on near empty!!!

There is a local cafe that has very good meals and rather cheap. I eat there almost every morning. Cost me about $2.50. So you can check it out.

As for activities...well, there were not many nights that all the people would be there so that was hard to plan. So we have the BIG BBQ planned with the ORIGINAL SNATCH "O" Bingo, Jack is the Head BEE on that!!! That takes a $5 gift to play with. Cheap for the fun it is.
I am sure everyone will have a good time. I will have maps for places you might like to visit.

Looking forward to some last minute people to sign up also!!!!

Howdy,
We have "lurked" over this thread for months as we have wondered how our responsibilities and schedule would permit us to attend. So, a couple of days ago, we finally tied up loose ends in the family time schedule. That left June 1-5 WIDE open for us. So we will be seeing y'all from site #2 at the B Social Rally. I like Saliron's comment. "No activities, sit back relax" and "jawjack." GCup, I heard some very nice comments from the park person who took our reservation, about your prep work for the rally. Thanks for taking the lead on that. Also, count us in on the BeeBarQ. Until then...

Pilgrims2,

Welcome to the group. We are next to you in site #3.

Gary,

Bobojay and I had been discussing and asking about restaurants on Roadfood.com with little feedback. A Google search shows slim pickins. Are there any good references for the area? It would be nice to put together some actual addresses to plug into our GPSes. I'm always interested in breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches but I would be willing to try a Runza.

Do you have room for one more? I have reserved site 50. I'm looking forward to the bison BBQ - I have eaten it before and it is delicious.

Welcome Pilgrims2 and B Traveler!

Relaxing it will be!

I know that NJheart and Irishmist will have coffee ready each morning. They had the coffee ready at the last couple of B and Mini Rallys)! (At least this is what I am told, for most of the time Jack and tend to sleep in).

GGup, I am sure, will keep the fire going and, there is always room to roast 'something' over the fire, in addition to our Buffalo!

And, if you have not played and would like to participate in 'Snatcho Bingo', please bring a $5.00 wrapped gift from each player.
