So, did Dad end up taking them or did the bus finally show? Did you ever find out what happened to the bus?
Things may happen in your life that are totally unexpected but with good friends, a campfire and a positive attitude, you can get through anything.

Hmmm, what's that I hear right now? Could it be peace and quiet? The absence of bickering, whining and crying? Ahhh, heavenly. 4pm will be here much too soon today. Gosh I love the first day of school!

We must have jinxed you, sitting around the fire Saturday night, talking about how eager the girls were to ride the bus, especially right at your front door.

Well folks, it's only 37 days until we meet again. I'm taking all the ideas that have been generated and trying to make a final call. Deb is in the process of getting materials together to make "trick or treat" bags (kids crafts) to use Saturday night. I'm working out details with Tiffany at Indian Trails. Also trying to get donors for our raffle/door prizes. Asking Randy to bring margarita machine and lead Saturday morning tour to Amish country. AND If you had a chance to take a look at the first page...the list...looks like we may have one of the largest WI rallies so far. Are you getting enthused?
With that being said, I'm going to make a request. Is it possible to ask for some help from you great RVing folks, to help out in the following areas during the weekend:
kids crafts 4-6 people
cooks/chefs- for brats being donated by the Merzs'
set-up pavilion for Sat night 8-10 people
clean-up after dinner 8-10 people
Fri night wine tasting 2 people
If you have an interest or skill that may be put to use, please send me a PM.
I have also been updating the list and have added a few things. Check it over for correct arrivals, right user name etc. If nothing is next to your name, I may need that info sent to me.

Let me know if Randy will bring slushie machine. I have more of the orange mix than we can possibly use. I might also have some hurricane mix to spare.

Butch, as for the help -- John (PRCA Cowboy) and Greg did an AWESOME job of grilling brats at the Cedar Creek rally back in May. I'm sure they'd be THRILLED to have me volunteer them for the job for THIS rally!
Do you want us to bring our Nesco to put the cooked brats in (along with some contributions of beer) to keep them toasty until we eat? What about buns? We'll need to get some of those -- are there some funds in the budget for buns?
