There is a beautiful 8-10 pointer in the woods right below A.B.S. I think he knows he's safe there. He seems smart enough to get off the road when cars are coming...
Safe Hunt everybody.
We have State Football Championship game Friday at Camp Randall, DD wanted to go, so I'm working Saturday.
Good luck to all hunting this weekend. This will be the first time in 30 years that I'll be home instead of Waupaca Co. with my my buddies. (earn a buck in our area and no doe tag so not that bad)
Work has been a real?@# challenge this year.
But there is always next year.

Because it's too expensive to run them over.....
Actually, I like the peace and quiet of sitting in the woods. It's my down time. I enjoy bow hunting and turkey hunting even more. Just something about being out there. We're on private land, so I don't have to worry about getting shot at. There's four of us that hunt together. No drives, just stand hunting. We all know where each other sits.
I agree, I love being out there in nature it's very quiet & peaceful. It also gives me time to think about my dad & remember the hunting trips I took with him. This is my time for relaxing & destressing from my busy life.
Enough about hunting already... JK. Hope everyone one of you "catches" a deer. Jim decided to stay around home this year so no turdy point buck will be coming back to Neenah (which means no venison---yeah!)
On another note, if anyone is still interested in joining the group for Mamma Mia on February 9 in Appleton, let me know. I held four extra tickets just in case. Dinner is open to all as well.
