I was looking forward to 8 inches o fsnow, but now they are talking about 2-4. I think there is still the potential for it to move more north than they are thinking right now. If that happens we could see more snow.
Things may happen in your life that are totally unexpected but with good friends, a campfire and a positive attitude, you can get through anything.

I could use a little break from snow. Not used to these good old Wi winters.

Jim and I are both sick with a nasty cold; good thing we are both off of work this week. Didn't make for the best time at Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan last night but we made the best of it. Neat place!
Only a couple more weeks and look what will be in northeast Wisconsin:
WBAY RV & Camping Show - January 17-20, 2008
Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena and Shopko Hall
Also, don't forget about our mid-winter RV.NET get-together on February 9 in Appleton! We will be going to Pullman's for dinner and then for those that purchased tickets, going to see Mamma Mia! at the Fox Cities PAC. Tickets are still available but getting limited; private message me if you are interested in joining us for either dinner, the show or both.
Happy New Year!

They do that because they have NO CLUE what's really going to happen! Wouldn't you love to have a job where you can be wrong at least 50% of the time, NOT get fired and have folks hang on your every word?
I was actually hoping the snow would come further north. We haven't seen snow like this since we moved up here three years ago. I'm amazed at the size of the piles our neighbors made with their plows! Due to the snow and cold, our poor chickens haven't been outside in almost a month! They HATE snow, so I'm sure they happier to be inside, but they're so used to going outside every day, I'm thinking that they're getting tired of being "cooped" up! LOL If it gets warm enough (read: 30 degrees), in the next couple of days, we'll probably open the door to the coop and let them do what they want. I doubt that they'll leave, but it will at least get some fresh air in there.

It's REALLY all about ratings....for the TV stations. Meteorologists say that with the new technology, satellites and spotters, there is only a 48% chance that the forecast will be accurate. Just the other night, a local SE WI TV station changed it's forecast three times in a 24 hour period. (I know, I need to get a life)
