We ordered our 5th wheel without the mirrors on the closet doors. We also had the cabinet doors made without all that glass and mirrors that RVs seem to come with. We just don't like them. We thought it made the interior look cheesy. Each to his own. We brighten up the interior of our RV by opening the blinds.

We're okay with ours so far - sometimes they supplement the mirror over the sink.
We also have one MBR closet at home that has the 'same' mirrored doors.
As mentioned previously, they would only be tacky/glitzy in my view if on the ceiling.
DW especially can't understand why big bucks RV/MHs/Buses often have mirrored ceilings.
Have a great weekend!
Can't wait to go camping next weekend!

I've seen one fifth wheel that comes with paneled wood closet doors (Day Dreamer by Cedar Creek) There are probably more fifth wheels that do have wooden doors, I just haven't seen them.

Mirrors, mirrors and MORE mirrors! I think we all know it's a tactic by the manufacturers to try and make their (our) units all look a bit bigger inside, but sometimes enough is too much!
We have: a full length mirror inside the entrance door, another full length mirror on the biffy door, which is opposite the mirror over the bathroom sink. Then, like everyone else, we also have the two HUGE mirrors on the sliding doors of the wardrobe in the front of the trailer. Enough already!
I sleep on the 'mirror' side of the bed, and I'm not going to get into why I don't like to see my own reflection first thing in the morning, because that's my own business. Suffice to say I just don't!
What I did was, I took off ONE of the doors and replaced the mirror with a piece of Oak panelling, cut to the same size as the mirror. Now, I can slide the remaining mirror door to either side, or the Oak panelled door to either side! When I get up, I can look at a nice piece of Oak instead of 'you don't wanna know what' and that makes my perspective on the day a whole lot better! And it looks so nice, we're talking about doing the same thing with the other door. Like many have said, it gets rid of some weight as well as (dare I say it?) makin' da joint a bit classier with a nice Oak feature wall!

That is one of many reasons we traded 5th wheels. Our 5er we have now has no mirror in the bedroom! nor does it have a &^%$*@ sink in the bedroom!
And our washer and dryer is not in the bedroom either!!

I've seen a couple of people buy wood veneer sheets (very thin wood) and either glue them over the mirror or if possible remove the mirror and glue to the backing. I would imagine this takes a little weight out of the trailer too.

I can't believe what I am reading in this forum about people having this fear to look in the mirrors at themselves in the morning. Hey! you are what you are and covering up the mirrors is not going to change a darn thing. If you are ashamed of yourself, you must be ugly.
Personally I like a coach with some mirrors. Mine even has a ten foot mirror with Halogen and rope lights around it in the living room ceiling. OH Well! It takes all kinds I guess. LOL!
