I am a believer of the bounce shhets now! I had read on this site many times over that this is the best way to get the bugs off. I tried it today and not only did it get the bugs off but got the tar and all that excess caulking from assembly as well! Thanks again RV.NET!!

My T shirt reads, "I want to believe". Like the opening scene in 'Men In Black', if you can bounce yellow bug juice off your rig, maybe I can too.

Yes, it does work. Must be the structure of the fibers.

They work great for bug and road tar removal. They are also great for many other uses, even to include keeping mice out of your RV.
I have shockingly heard that some people even use them in the laundry.

I be one that used them today while doing the laundry, figured I better help out the wife.
Now, I am going to have to see how well they work on the rig too.

I think it's mostly the lightly abrasive structure of the sheets that makes them good at bug removal. One caution... It may be a good idea to quickly re-wax the areas where you really scrub to remove bugs. I dunno if they remove / damage the wax or not, but I'd guess there's a good possibility.

And they don't have to be new, work just as good after they have been through the dryer. That makes them free.

That's a fact. I've been using the "used" ones to shine up the chrome bathroom fixtures for years now. Wet lightly, scrub & wipe with a dry cloth. No scratches or water spots remain.

The sheets are made of rayon and polyester (rather than cotton) so they hold up. They basically don't have much more than cationic (positively charged for anti-static) detergent and softener.
So, you're really cleaning with a relatively stiff cloth with some mild cleaner in it. Yes, seems to work pretty well.
There are some warnings to those of you with pets (if used inside). Some cats/dogs can be sicked by the chemicals if you really use them big-time.
Urban myth about repellent. I've seen, first hand, chewed up Bounce sheets making for some very warm, comfy, mouse beds.....
