Hi everybody, I am new here.
I did a search and read all 37 pages for "repair".
Last night unloading for the first time since we bought our 93 caribou the front almost fell to the ground. Both front jacks started leaning the same direction and luckily my wife caught it before it went too far.
I obviously need to investigate my jack mounts. The right front jack pulled away to the right of the camper. The left front jack pulled away towards the front of the camper.
What are the step for determining the nature of the repair? What criteria do I use to determine if I drill some new holes and add screws or rip the siding off and replace the frame work underneath?

Get the jack brackets off and clean up the putty. Then check the wooden frame members, they may be dry rotted.

Good thing it didn't fall on her. Like already mentioned, check for dry rot, otherwise it'll just happen again. Good luck!

Well the wife and I tore into the jack mounts last night. Both front bottom corners have dry rot. The crossmembers and vertical peices are pretty well rotted. The plywood in the wings looks bad too. I haven't pulled the siding off the side yet so I don't know how far down the side it goes. I will take some pictures next time.
What kind of wood should I use to replace the bad wood? What kinds of fastening methods should I use? I like the idea of glueing and screwing it back together. What is a good brand glue to use?

Just my .02
I used gorilla glue,
The expensive tight grain fir #1 or #2 wood
Stainless steel hardware.
I think using the spray in foam "great stuff" and giving it an "out" will add structure to your corners (just a bit of shear) trim the foam and add the outside sheets.
For corner jacks, I would think using a plate,not just large washers, inside could solve some structure issues if water becomes an issue again?

If I remember correctly a standard 1" x 2" x 8' is under $2.50.
The good stuff, for my HD is over by the trim and moulding, costs $4-5.
Huge diff in the quality once you have the good stuff in your hands.
