We bought a small Bigfoot about 2 months ago. There are 3 dealers on the East Coast.

St. Michael's RV and Marine Center - Md.

Indian Valley Camping Center - Pa.

East End Campers - New York

We have not needed any work done yet, so we have limited experience with them. With that said, if you should need one, we would recommend the one in St. Michael's. We have dealt with them and Indian Valley. We don't know anything about East End.

We also loved the Seneca. It was a hard decision. We will not be full timing so, we decided to go with the 24 Slide for easy maneuvering, all weather, and high quality. All weather also means less gas to cool in the summer and to heat in the winter.

Whichever one you decide on, I'm sure you will be pleased.

wip, sorry I took so long to answer. I owned a Bigfoot trailer for a few years and had no quality control issues that frequently plague other less expensive RVs. I bought used. All other owners of Bigfeet we met along the way loved theirs also. (both trailer owners and MH people). I believe in buying what you want. If you can't afford it, wait a year.

I just purchased a 2006 Bigfoot 40MH32ST with the Duramax Diesel. Found it used outside of Las Vegas, good price with only 6000 miles on it. Drove it back to West Palm Beach, Florida. Very good handling - air bag suspension - no problem with winds and passing semi's. I have not used it much yet but find the build quality to be exceptional. My Son-in-law just purchased a Jayco 32SS Grayhawk. After a few months we should be able to give you some good comparisons. Not many dealers for Bigfoot on East Coast but I have not had any problems getting work done at a local West Palm area dealer. If they run into something they are not familar with they just give the Bigfoot factory a call and I was told by the Service Manager they get great service. For cold weather NOTHING beats a BIGFOOT except a house and some houses are not as well insulated as a Bigfoot. Traveling the coach is heated by an aux heater using engine coolant for heat and also circulates in the water heater so you have hot water on the road with using propane.
