damone, yes I believe that there is an area for dirt bikes/atvs at R Ranch in Platina, Ca.

Black Meadow Landing in Parker Dam, CA (on Lake Havasu) will store Travel Trailers and move them to sites for the owners. They cannot move fifth-wheels. If you're not towing, I think you could make it in 3 hours from Bakersfield.

How about owning your campsite adjacent to a nice lake? Look at Big Bear Shores in Big Bear Ca. Better bring a wheel barrow full of cash because these sites are not cheap. Check out their website. www.Bigbearshores.com
