Has anyone built a bunk gate for trailer. We have an Aljo with triple bunks.I would like to figure out some kind of gate for all the bunks, KWIM
We have 14mo triplets and I would like to use the bunks rather than PNP.
Thanks

Jacdanboy,
Are those two separate bed guards that you connected together? How do you keep them in the upright position?
Thanks.

Yes it is two sperate bed guards, however they are not connected, they operate seperately. They have locks (the bottom white part of each) that keep them upright.
They each have two rails that go under the mattress, and a strap and plate that is supposed to go to the other side of the bed for support.
For the plate I just lossened the screws that hold the bunk to the wall and put the plate in then tightened the screws back up. Because the bunk mattress is so light I did drill a hole in the end of each of the rails that go under the matress and put a screw into the bunk structure under the mattress for extra safety.
We did it this way because it left nothing visible in the camper when the rails came out, and now we have the bedrails for a bed if we ever need them.
We moved my daughter to the bottom bunk with no rails when she was around 20 months. I would take more pictures but they are stored up in the attic for now.
I can't imagine triplets, with one little one I pull my hair out sometimes (5% hair out, 95% fun)

Thanks - We had to move her to the bottom bunk

Now at 23 months she has no gate, and in the camper Daisy (the 9 year old lab(our 1st daughter)) just started sleeping with my other daughter.

Welsome with your own account. If you want to go that way and are still confused let me know and I will pull them out of the attic, mock it up for you and take some pictures.
