Here's the propane lamp when it was in our 1963 camper. The globe was broken so I hid it so Lovebug wouldn't through it away, now I can't find it. I had all three pieces and it would be easy to glue, I still have the two little pieces just can't find the globe. LOL
I ordered this globe from Vintage RV Supply today so I can get the lamp installed soon.
It should be a nice addition. It will be nice to have a "night-light" so when we come in from "around the campfire" the TT will be lit without running down the batteries. I think it will keep the chill out of the air too. Fall is on it's way.
I'm going to find another one and install it in the bathroom because it there is no heat in there unless you leave the door open.

New brakes from the backing plates out on our TT, and new tires. Normal wearout items on everything else so far.

Well this has been a great year for us. No repairs but a few upgrades. Thin pieces of plexiglass put up around the stove area to keep the splatters off the wallpaper. Also put thin plexiglass around the screen area of the screen door so it could be open during the day letting in the sunlight and still keep the cool air inside. We think this so far was the best upgrade for us. Happy Camping!

I bought four 4x8 sheets of Birch wood door skins this weekend. Boy they don't give that stuff away anymore. Juggler donated a six gallon fresh water tank, thanks. I think I'll start on the front dinette area tonight. This has been a loooong time coming, many different projects this spring and summer.

I replaced all of my exterior marker lights with LEDs. My old light were so badly corroded that some of them barely turned on. Now they all work.

I added an electric tongue jack, max air vent covers on all the roof vents,digital thermostat and mounted a 14" flat screen on the bedroom wall. Repacked the wheel bearings and added air bags to the back of my tow vehicle. All in all, pretty productive couple of weeks.

I just finished the front wall tonight. The 4x8 Birch wood door skins are the way to go. They bend very easy and I learned they could be cut with a utility knife. This has whole thing has been a learning experience for me. The two side walls are next. Hope to get them tomorrow after work.
My 43yr old trailer now burns my eyes when I walk in it just like the new ones. Lots of glue to make the bend at the roof and floor.

Mike, do they seem brighter to you? I'm wanting to do the same thing but was thinking with the bulbs being behind the lens sideways they might not be any brighter.

They seem brighter because some of them barely worked  . The LEDs look about as bright as the regular lights on my livestock trailer. When you are off at an angle they are a little dimmer than the regular lights, but the dimming is not enough for me to think there is a safety concern. The LEDs I purchased have 4 LEDs in them. I have seen 2 LED marker lights available and those might be dimmer.
