I got busy working again on the trailer. I've got a few new upgrades to the old gal. First I bought a TV antenna. I wanted the old style to go with the trailer. At first it looked real funny and I was not sure I liked it. But now it's growing on me. You never see these any more. It works great too.

I got tired of holding up the bench lids to put my things inside. So I came up with this idea. It's a hook and eye setup. They come in different lenghts, I used 4" long hooks.

I've got a few more projects to get done before we go out soon. I'll keep you posted.

I like this one, and as usual you sure do nice work.

Finished the generator rack in the back and have installed and tested. Completed the roll out tray in the outside under bed storage area. Installed three vent covers. Installed wine glass racks. Installed wiring for holding tanks pump. Started the bike rack for the front. Still have the new window treatment wife bought to install in the bedroom. When I get the TT finished I get to install a new rebuilt magneto on my 1936 John Deere Model D and take it out to a play day.

Sorry mich60, I didn't mean to get off track, I knew you were asking about TT upgrades. (well, it's kind of a TT upgrade)

Nope, your not off track. Looks like a vintage RV upgrade to me.
Besides it's always nice to see a clean still "working" 390ci. Something about those old big engines is kinda kool.

Very minor repair. I replaced two of these 12v power sources, this one and the one in the bathroom. The old ones were starting to pit and these are identical, $6 each.

This Year:

Big year for mods/upgrades:
1. Axle "flip", and shocks.
2. Drawers under the dinette (got 2 drawers for $25.00 from dealer)
3. Drawers under the sink. (got 2 drawer for $15.00 from dealer)
4. New water pump and pressure tank.
5. Shelves in 3 closets. (I think that I will use the wire shelves)
6. Replace the Concertone that is haunted. (it comes on when it feels like it)
7. Do something about the shower curtain rod.
8. Storage box on front of TT. Anybody done this? Thinking about this box: Aluminum storage box
9. Bike rack on front of TT.
10. Refurb the Hensley (in progress)
The list goes on and on and on.

I installed our new Humphreys propane gas light in our trailer's bathroom today. Our trailer has a radiant heat furnace (no blower) so the only way to heat the bathroom is to leave the bathroom door open. It gets really cold in there while camping in colder weather.

These lights put out quite a bit of heat and that will make using the bathroom a lot nicer.

They put out about the same light as a 60w light bulb.

I installed this gas light about last year, it works great for boondocking, a little bit of heat and light without draining the battery.

I started painting the trailer today. I'm painting the original brown Sequoia brown metallic to match the truck.

You can see the difference in the two colors. Next (probably next year) I'll paint the white Wimbledon white, same as the truck.
