I was wondering were you guys and gals hook your break away cable on your TT.

We always hook it to the pin that holds the hitch head. Over the 5/8" pin not the pin through it.

On my TT? it is hooked to the box it is suppose to be in. I hook the other end to the same loop I hook the saftey chain to.

I hook it to the bumper so it is not attached to any part that is used for towing. It won't do a lot of good if the receiver breaks and the cable is attached to the part that stays with the trailer.

I hook mine to a loop under the bumper.As QCMAn stated, I don't want it attached to what might travel along with the TT should it become detached.

I put an eye bolt into my bumper and I use a small carabiner to clip it on. Same idea as others - don't want it separating with the hitch.

I hook mine to the spare tire attached under the body. Looks like the easiest place to attach it independently of the hitch and bumper.
