It is with great regret that we must cancel our site for this Gathering. I have an unbreakable family obligation for the same weekend. We will be at the gathering in Gettysburg.

My garage may be a little messy but I can still get both cars in easily.

Larry, you gone to Indiana yet?

Hey, you might be a redneck if you mow your grass and find a car...repair your washer with parts from the 3 sitting on your porch....if your gazebo is an old satellite dish held up with PVC pipe... (actually I thought that was a good idea..).. if your couch is your nicest piece of furniture and it was the front seat in a 66 Ford Galaxy.

You might be a redneck if.....

You've been married three times and still have the same in-laws.

You think Possum is "The Other White Meat"

You carried a fishing pole into Sea World.

Your hunting dog had a litter of puppies in the living room and nobody noticed.

You and your dog use the same tree.

Your grandfather died and left everything to his widow. But she can't touch it until she's fourteen.

You have a bumper sticker that says,"MY MOTHER'S AN HONOR STUDENT AT SOUTH LITTLE ROCK JR. HIGH."

Fifth grade was the best six years of your life.

Down where you come from reruns of Hee Haw are called documentaries.

The Halloween pumpkin on your front porch has more teeth than your wife.

It's easier to spray weed killer on your lawn than mow it.

Your brother-in-law is your uncle AND your grandfather.

Therein lies the problem, Steve... She's got a car and I've got a Titan. If it were two cars, there'd be elbow room, but as it is, I've got 100 sq ft of workbenches, free-standing woodworking tools, a 40-gallon air compressor, storage cabinets, and R/C airplane assembly/repair/storage tables lining 3 walls of the garage, which doesn't leave much room to move if both vehicles are in there. (the garage has one large door, not two separate ones).

I dunno if she told you, but I had to build an elevator system for my R/C planes to get some of them out of the way. Ingenious little bugger... 4 corner cables connect to a central cable that's attached to a hand-crank that lifts the platform up like when Frankenstein went to get zapped to life. Sorta makes me feel like Renfield when I'm lifting it. LOL See? I make use of the room I've got...

Not that it matters NOW, since the center of the garage is where a big pile of camper stuff lives (until we figure out whether we'll have the new one or old one at OMS). I can have the little bit left over in the HTT cleaned out and ready to trade her in within 3 hours, yet if the new one doesn't arrive before the gathering, I can re-load what we need for OMS in as little as 1 hour.

Unless things change, Tina and I should have our firstborn off the assembly line on Friday. No idea if they can get it from Indiana to here before we leave for the gathering on Wednesday...

Cheers!

BTW, is anyone who's arriving prior to Friday planning to go to Millers Smörgåsbord again? We'll be there from Wednesday on, so pick a night and we'll be there!

Well we have a Mountaineer and a corolla...plus 3 trailers and I have bout 1.5 foot of room in my garage and not one of those vehicles are in there yet!! I'm lucky if I could find a space for my bike (actually thats still hanging on the back of the RV since our trip to Florida) and that was march 4-14 and I don't see a time anytime soon to be able to have the car in the garage.......as my hubby said garages aren't really for cars!! (you think he's a redneck?? wait till you see him riding around on his cooler)LOL

Also...I need to make sure the campground will have plenty of ice for my margarita machine the ice maker doesn't keep up...does any one know if they sell ice there? (most do, just don't want to have any surprizes)

last but not least.....since this is a rice pudding gathering LOL....where is the rice pudding????

We'll miss you guys....

Chox...I have a 12 X 24 barn out back to keep the trailer and motorcycles, lawn mowers, etc... Helps keep the clutter down in the garage.

Yup, got one of them too... But with a whole squadron of airplanes (with wingspans varying from 2' - 7') there still aint enough room.
