Well...we're the only ones left at the campground. L & L left early, and doctor Bob and Kathy just left.

A lazy morning. Heading out around 10:00'ish.

Too short a weekend, but it was filled with great times and great friends. It IS what this is all about.

We'll have lots more time at G'burg. Yay!

Enjoy your day!

Morning All-

Met friends for lunch yesterday on the way home, then got home and unloaded the essentials, and off to see friends for dinner and to catch the Uconn - Stanford (game which our team lost ) on their 102 inch projection screen !! WOW.

Had a GREAT time seeing all of you. We loved the campfires and margueritas and conversations with new friends. Wish we had more time together, but looking forward to GB.

It was a great weekend! The boys were soooo tired by Sunday night - just the way we like them
Thanks to Bob and Kathy for taking me to Green Dragon - an experience! And to Paul for showing me how to snack through the place
Tony and Maria, what a wonderful breakfast you put on, thanks so much.
And Jill, we capped off the weekend with a win from Carl - yeah!

For those who asked, here is the recipe for the breakfast casserole I made for Sat. am:

a bag of frozen hash brown potatoes
shredded cheese (use what you like)
diced ham, green peppers and onions (could use cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage instead)
Spray your crock pot and layer the above 3 times
mix 12 eggs and some milk and pour over the top
turn on low and let sit overnight, in the morning it is done!
(I'm sure you could adjust the recipe to make more or less as needed)

We left Lankster at about 10:15. Home at exactly 3:15.

Stopped to fill up in Jersey since gas is about .34 cheaper/gallon. Traffic wasn't bad at all, except for one small stretch of the BQE.

Again, had a great weekend and want to thank everyone who joined us.

Stay tuned for dates for next year.

Nice shot Jim, sure miss the city but not the pot-holes! Glad to hear your drive was uneventful.

Anyone heard from Larry and Linda yet? Did they get the job in Jersey?? If they do, does that mean they'll be staying at Butterfly Campground for the summer??

I just got caught up on the thread that I haven't read for almost a week. We too made it home safely around 6pm Sunday evening. We stopped in York for a late lunch and then headed on home.

It was a great weekend!! Thanks for everything. Our friends that came couldn't believe how nice everyone was. Jim you say that we will have more time in Gettysburg but......is there ever enough time when you are out camping? We always go home saying that the weekend or week was just TOO short. We can't wait to get there and then before we know it, it's all over. Some of us just need to find a way to live closer to each other so we can do this more often. 2-4 times a summer just isn't enough with our friends. We need to become more like the Ohio crew!!!
