These are my favorite places to eat:

1. Capt. Anderson's (just outside the state park by the lagoon bridge)

2. Spinaker - off Thomas Drive, best Grouper sandwich ever.

3. Schooners Off Thomas Drive

4. Flamigo Joes - a little hole in the wall place, but the best burgers you'll ever eat.

5. Up near West Bay off Hwy 79.....Boondocks! YUM!

Yep, ate at Spinaker and Schooners. Sharon is right, best grouper sandwich on the beach is at Spinaker. Unfortunatly, we got turned off by the way the manager at Spinaker treated a group of Texas collage students that were sitting next to us. He assumed they were trying to rip him off, but as we observed, the waiteress made a mistake. Could not believe that the manager threatened to call the police for a mistake his waiteress made, all over a bowl of chips and salsa. The kids were not in the wrong. I think the manager was on a power trip.
Outside of that, the food was good and our waiteress was wonderful.

Yea, that tends to happen. I know they are now trying to get P.C. to be more of a family spring break area. They have cut the funding in half to promote the college students to come here. I have never ran into a spring breaker here that was not nice, etc. They are all very courteous and well-mannered.

Anyway...getting off subject a bit.....Spinaker is great. If you have time, give Boon-docks a try. It's right off Hwy 79 at West Bay right on the water. You won't be disappointed.

We will be headed that way ourselves in a couple of weeks.

One recommendation for great seafood is "downtown PC" is the Captain's Table, follow this link for info and directions.
