Have fun, everyone! I will think about you this weekend (we are camping and fishing near home) as my ice cubes plink together....

Hey, Giz-mom , do I remember right that you're the one who first seriously suggested this B-Rally idea, 'way back when?

Eight early bird rigs have shown up at Scenic View campground on this Wednesday evening in anticipation of the "Rally to Remember." The weather is cool and overcast, but Jim & Carolyn have a fire going already.

We are still planning to leave VA on Friday morning BUT I had to pull out the heater core this afternoon because it was leaking. I had thought the leak was only in one of the hoses leading into the core. If I cannot find a replacement or have it repaired tomorrow, I plan to bypass the @#$%* thing and mush on anyhow!

How the heck did MURPHY get my address?

Should've been nine...I'm at a highly secret location (with great Wi-Fi) about 3 hours northeast of Logan. I'll probably be up with the sun - cock-a-doodle-doo - and on my way to "The Rally to Remember" at around 9...after I get my morning coffee and relaxation fix.

Well, actually when I saw your post I realized that I had counted nine and wrote eight. You will be 10 when you get our breakfast here.

We are one of the early birds, and I must say this is the prettiest, cleanest, best kept campgrounds I have ever visited. Anyone who has opted not to join this Rally to Remember will be missing out on a great location and a fun fun group.

I'm sorry to say, I just got a call from my boss, and I won't be making the rally as planned due to an urgent work situation.

I've been in Leesburg, Va all week and was planning on coming home tomorrow to leave for B-5. It's not happening. I'm probably not leaving Leesburg until Saturday now.

In many ways, being a civilian in the Army feels like I'm in the Army.

Please pass along my regrets to everyone including the organizers especially to Jim, Nick and Lynne.

We were really looking forward to seeing everyone, relaxing, drinking a bit, checking out the demo B's, snatching some bingo, and mostly doing the chicken dance.

We're beyond the campground cancellation dates so I hope our site goes to good use.

Have fun everyone!!!!! See you next year (unless I have a C (B+ sized) by then. Drink one for us!

Jim,
Yes it was me who suggested but others took the string and flew the kite up high. I plan on attending one someday. I hope you all have a blast.

That campfire sures looks good.

I am green with envy. I hope to catch a big bass this weekend to ease my pain and sufffering!
