Some pictures are posted at Ocean Waves website...they are not real recent or that old (couple years old)... I was there last week and it still looks the same...

How is the storm treating you? Heard it's not pleasant, but wasn't considered big enough to order evacuations. Hope it passes well!

We're at KOA and it's 9:05 PM and it's been pretty gusty, there are some smaller pop ups and everytime one of those comes through I go to the window to make sure they're still right side up. I sure hope it settles down soon.
They did evacuate and close all the state parks and won't re-open them until maybe Tues.

Here are some pics I took at Ocean Waves in July, we had site #36.

We loved it! Already planning next year's vacation.

We camped at Ocean Waves back in July. Nice and clean little campground. The one thing that surprised us was that they charge an extra $16 per day to put any kind of extra tent (screen room, potty tent, etc.) on your site, even if it stays on the concrete pad. Maybe this is standard for private campgrounds and I am just spoiled by state parks.

They do that because of past problems with people 'sharing the site' with other campers. I have often wondered why they would consider a screen room the same as a tent, but they do... They have nice low prices as it is, so if you gotta pay extra to put up a tent I think you are still ahead of the game compared to the two big campgrounds up the street from them...
